Nature Trail- New proposal to utilize the 5.7 acres behind the treatment plant next to the common area, to end at the beginning of Singleleaf Dr. Proposal is to cut a defined trail into the already established trails and create exit points for the trail along the ditch lots. The trails go back as far as Willow Creek, offering fishing opportunities.
Creek Willow Lower Park- the Fifth Oldest Oak in Harris County is located at the lot just before you enter Dowdell from Creekwillow. We are required to maintain the tree, so we are creating a park area for residents to use. Current costs show it to be at almost Zero but some increased maintenance will be required.
Ditch lots- The ditch lots are privately owned and are currently being evalutated for acquisistion by the board should the owner decide to deed them over. once that is done, we are planning a jogging trail around the ditch lots. That will increase the useful area of the land, and also allow for us to deepen the ditches for flood control.
Tennis Court Resurfacing- Currently scheduled for first two weeks in May pending contractors.
