Parking:
With Dowdell's donation of 3.2 acers, we have expanded the parking area for the park use.
Removal of the basket ball court made more room to expand and gave residents more access to the park, and pool areas. As a side benefit, removal reduced the amount of crime in the area, and increased the safety of our residents who use the park. Funding has been allocated from WF budget to address this project from 2007.

Pool:
Pool liner is shot and will not make it another year. This year's patches will take the pool until close this season, but next year it must be replaced with a new liner. The association is currently taking bids on redoing the liner, pump house, and other improvements to the pool so next year, the pool is in need of both liner and pumps for the summer of 2009. Project is budgeted with 2009 assessments and reserves.

Neighborhood Activites:
Currently, we do not have any activities that were part of the neighborhood. This is changing and the Association is looking for Vollunteers to help organize the following civic groups:
Gardening
Pets
Community concern
Neighborhood Watch
Automotive
Outdoors
Suggestions for others are welcome.

Announcement Sign:
Resently we lost the announcement sign in the front of the neighborhood. We are taking bids on replacing this with a sign that will match the neighborhood's monument sign. Insurance bids are in the process of being collected for funding and replacement. As a side benefit to the loss, we have recovered both sides of the old sign. This will allow us to create two, one sided announcement signs. Placement to be determined but both signs will cost under $300.00 to construct and place.

Walking Trails:
In a continuing effort to improve the ammenities of the Association, the nature trail is to be reopened this fall. 33 acers of walking trail, along with a nature reserve will be improved, and open to all. We are budgeting for the crushed granite, with the help of the Eagle Scouts (to be determined at a later date). Project projected for 2009.

Retention pond upgrades:
Currently reviewing creation of pathway for jogging and walking around the retention pond areas on Creek Willow. This could include digging the ditched deeper, and aeriation. The ditches will still function as the retention pond for that area, but will allow for residents to use the area to its fullest. Pathway is under consideration after expanding the ponds capacity.

Willow Creek access:
While doing the upgrades, clearing, and cleaning of the nature trail, we will create cut thru areas for creek access so residents can fish, and enjoy an otherwise underutilized resource, that has been hidden all these years.
This will be a zero cost as we clear the 3.2 acers donated by Dowdell PUD

Creekside Place Merger:
Currently in talks to merge with creekside place. Since they are in debt from developer, we are observing their performance and will guage the merger from that aspect. At this time, all projects with Willow Forest are funded without regard to the merger.
