Improvements and Projects
Parking- We added 3.5 acres to the Common area which allows us to place parking next to the tennis courts. This will eleviate congestion during the summer and allow for closer access to the park.
Nature Trail- We are reopening the nature trail. Some of the trail was cleared for access from the parking lot to the pool. Please be careful when walking the trail as the wild life needs to adjust our presence in the area.
Acerage for Expansion- Dowdell PUD has gift deeded 3.5 acers for our use to expand the common areas. This is from the east side of the pool to the tree line in the west of the tennis courts. Part of this was dedicated to a new parking lot to get the streets cleared of vehicles during the summer months and allow for the Swim Team visitors to park in place of the streets. The expansion is a 4 year project, and as money and time permit. Details are available at your board meetings.

Current Board Issues
Deed Restrictions- As of September 12, the board has suspended all Deed Restriction inspections. This will continue until October 16th, when the board will discuss extension of this due to the hurricane
Hurricane Recovery- Most of us within the neighborhood sustained some form of damage to their property. Some had limbs fall, others complete trees came into the house. Even the president of the Home Owners Association wasn't spared. The Board would like you to know we are working closely with state and local officials to facilate a rapid recovery for all of the residents. If you haven't filed for your relief packet with FEMA, you may do so by clicking here, or calling 1-800-621-3362.
Most of us will not qualify for disaster assistance but will qualify under the Small Business Administration (SBA) for a low interest loan.
Most Mortgage companies are offering 60 to 90 day Deferments on your mortgage payments. You should contact your mortgage company for more details.
Car lien holders are also offering some form of deferments.
PCT 4- Constable's office requests that to further reduce the tempation of Vehicle break-ins, that you remove all things of value, such as camera's, cellphones, laptops, GPS units, and anything that can be easily removed and placed in your pockets. Vehicle break-ins are crimes of opportunity, and by reducing the opportunity to get your things, they will not stop and break in to your vehicle.
